I don`t know when my love affair with Aston Martins started, perhaps it was when I saw James Bond`s DB5 in Goldfinger that I became instantly smitten. Since that film a number of different Aston Martins have been produced, some of them stunning and some of them rather dubious to say the least. In all honestly though I`d gladly have the majority of them if anyone were to offer me one of these fine automobiles. Alas, unless I win the lottery the nearest I`ll get to driving an Aston will be if I take part in an
Aston Martin Driving Experience. You can pay to take part in an
Aston Martin Driving Experience and you`ll get to drive an Aston around a race track, for what I`m guessing would be an unforgettable experience. At circuits around the country people are getting behind the steering wheels of V8 Vantages and DB9s. Just the thought of the
Aston Martin Driving Experience makes me drool and I`m pretty certain that it won`t be long until I treat myself to one of the driving days. I guess its James Bond fault that I love Astons, as when I saw Mr Connery driving that DB5 for the first time, I instantly knew that the name Aston would always have a sacred place in my heart.
